Wills
A properly drafted will gives peace of mind that you have taken care of the future.
If you don't make a will the law decides who inherits your estate. Did you know, for example, that:
- Many people assume that there is no need to make a will because their spouse will inherit everything. This is not necessarily the case.
- An unmarried partner is not automatically entitled to receive anything from your estate, even if you have lived together for many years. A properly drafted will is the only way in which you can provide for a partner.
Maybe you have a favourite charity you would like to benefit or friends or family - by making a will you can remember those people.
We can help - you can be assured that we will prepare a will tailored to your needs having discussed your individual circumstances.
We will discuss costs with you at the outset so there are no nasty surprises.
A well-drafted will can help to reduce or eliminate inheritance tax and, again, we can help with this.
